The 24th International ITG Workshop on Smart Antennas (WSA 2020) will be hosted at Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH). It provides a prestigious international forum for the latest results on communication and information theory, related signal processing algorithms, and experimental results for wireless communications, with special focus on multiantenna (MIMO) systems.

A non-exclusive list of topics of interest includes:

  • Beamforming Techniques
  • Massive/Full-Dimension MIMO
  • Network/Distributed MIMO
  • Multicell Systems and Interference
  • Cloud Radio Access Networks
  • Millimeter Wave and Terahertz Communications
  • Limited Feedback
  • Ultra-Low Latency Communication
  • Channel Modelling and Estimation
  • Compressive Sensing and Sparse Processing
  • Machine Learning for PHY/MAC Design
  • Multiantenna Techniques and Security
  • Field Trials and Demonstrators
  • MIMO Radar and Multisensor Processing
  • Cooperative and Sensor Networks
  • Device-to-Device Communications
  • Vehicular Communications
  • Uncoordinated and Massive Access
  • Localization

There will be oral presentations and posters.

Call for demo session contributions
WSA 2020 will feature an interactive demo session, where wireless simulation tools, test beds, and prototypes can be presented. A corresponding paper submission is optional, with extended paper submission deadline.
If you want to contribute to the demo session, please contact the workshop organizers directly at wsa2020@tuhh.de

Submission of Papers
Prospective authors are invited to submit extended abstracts (at least 2 pages, A4 two-colmun IEEE conference format) or full-length papers (at most 6 pages), including figures and references, in English electronically via this EDAS link

Paper Submission Deadline November 15, 2019
  Acceptance Notification December 20, 2019
Camera-ready Papers and Authors' Registration January 17, 2020

For a paper to be published in the conference proceedings (and in IEEE Xplore), at least one author of the paper must have a full registration for the conference by January 17, 2020 and the paper must be presented at the conference. Each full author registration can cover up to two papers.
