On 11 Mai 2021 a monitoring report on Asia-Pacific Research Area (APRA) has been published on behalf of Germany's Federal Ministry for Education and Research:

TIM/TUHH, and especially its Center for Frugal Innovation, have contributed to this report by personal engagement of Dr. Rajnish Tiwari. TIM has accumulated deep insights on India's Research and Innovation System over more than 15 years. The report makes extensive use of this expertise and in addition devotes a special section on frugal innovations and their potential for Indo-German cooperation not only for bilateral benefit but also for solving global societal challenges and achieving sustainable development goals (SDGs).
