LESSON D2: WASTEWATER REUSE TECHNOLOGIESThis lesson deals with the wastewater treatment technologies which are able to comply with the standards for water reuse. Usually the hygienic standard cannot be met by conventional treatment (even if it is highly efficient in removal of organics and nutrients) like activated sludge and secondary clarifier. Special emphasis will be given to the various tariff structures that are used to levy wastewater service fees. Tariffs determine the level of revenues that service providers receive from users.
