Awards for the Offshore Dynamics group at this year's OMAE 2021 conference

 

At this year's OMAE conference, the Offshore Dynamics Group received two awards. The award for the best paper of last year's OMAE conference in the symposium "Polar and Arctic Sciences and Technology" goes to the paper “OMAE2020-18152 – Damping of Regular Waves in Model Ice”. This paper is a contribution to the research project ”Nonlinear wave-ice-interaction” funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG, German Research Foundation) – 407532845. In addition, Moritz Hartmann, one author and presenter of the paper received the Subrata Chakrabarti Young Professional Award.
