PI-CUBE: AI-based emission reduction of electric vehicle braking systems

The Dynamics Group has been granted a new international research project "PI-CUBE" in the field of applied artificial intelligence, funded through BMBF. PI-CUBE develops a novel control strategy for electric cars to reduce potentially harmful emissions (particulate, noise) from braking systems. State-of-the-art AI methods are combined with physical modeling to enable healthier mobility.
