Healthcare and Ageing

Many countries are affected by demographic change, including particularly Japan and Germany. Adapting to these demographic changes is one of the biggest current challenges. While so far mainly the economic impact (health, pension system, social welfare) were examined, TIM concentrates in this research field on the so-far under-researched management perspective. Our central question here is how companies can better adapt to demographic change. Here we focus on the product and service development for aging customers.
