The festschrift with the title “Managing Innovation in a Global and Digital World: Meeting Societal Challenges and Enhancing Competitiveness” is a commemorative volume, is dedicated by its authors and editors to Prof. Dr. Cornelius Herstatt, who celebrated his 60th birthday last year. The festschrift is intended as a gesture of recognition and appreciation for his lifetime achievements and for his outstanding contribution to the field of science, especially to the management of technology and innovation, over the past three decades.
The festschrift contains chapters by over 40 colleagues as well as (former) students of Cornelius Herstatt and has been edited by Rajnish Tiwari and Stephan Buse. Full details of the book chapters and authors can be found here:

The festschrift was presented to Cornelius Herstatt in a festive ceremony in September 2019 at the Guesthouse of the University of Hamburg. Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Kersten, Dean of the Faculty of Management Sciences abd Technology at TUHH, Prof. Eric von Hippel (MIT, Boston; via Skype), Prof. Hugo Tschirky (ETH Zurich) and Prof. Alexander Gerybadze (University of Hohenheim), and Prof. Christian Lüthje (TUHH) spoke at the occasion and recounted their association with Cornelius.
